It’s been awhile since my last Blog Chat, BUT the wedding pro I’m introducing you to makes up for the long gap between my last post.

Do you have a friend who you met randomly and just hit it off? Like, that person was no longer a stranger, but an instant friend. Know what I’m talking about? Good because that’s how I felt about Leah Seale with Vibrant Occasions. As soon as we met over coffee last September, I can honestly say that I knew she was going to be a forever friend (even though she graduated from Henderson and I from Ouachita. Go Tigers!).

So without further ado, I’d like to introduce you to Leah Seale with Vibrant Occasions.

What is your go-to drink and treat?

Coffee, Coffee, Coffee!!!! There’s pretty much always a fresh pot of coffee brewing in our business office. I also have a major sweet tooth. I’m a sucker for our brownies that they always seem to be baking in our kitchen!

Read the book or watch the movie?

Read the book for sure!

If you could be any superhero which one would you be and why?

I don’t think this technically counts… but I would totally be a Hufflepuff in the Harry Potter world! 🙂 I’d love to be magical!

Note: This is better than any superhero you could’ve responded with, Leah!

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Another note: This is why we are friends. I’ll grab the margarita pitcher!

What motivates you or inspires you when you’re having a bad day?

Good music and remembering that I have pretty much the coolest career. I get to help people have amazing wedding days… Who wouldn’t love that?!?

What do you like to do when you aren’t working?

I enjoy going to see live music. And, I love spending time at home with my husband (James) and my sweet old Doxie dog, Reddog!

Life advice you like to give?

Life’s short. Surround yourself with folks you enjoy spending time with, and try not to take yourself too seriously… it’s ok to laugh and have a good time!

Do you have a memorable wedding moment you’d like to share?

There was a wedding where the bride asked her grandmother to be her flower girl. I cried the whole time during that ceremony! I was so touched.

What advice do you want to pass along to brides and grooms?

There is NO right or wrong answer for your wedding day. Do what you want to do and it’s absolutely acceptable to put your own spin on things. It’s YOUR day, make it about YOU and the things you LOVE!

What’s unique about your catering business?

We customize your menu, including the recipes! We have an extensive professional staff that truly enjoys what they do, so we are passionate about all things food! Plus, we cook with love.

What’s one of your favorite menu items?

Our Street Tacos, I could eat them EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. Oh… and our cheese stuffed mushrooms and spinach artichoke dip. I would eat SO MUCH of those if I could!

What is the largest event that you’ve had to cater?

We’ve done a plated dinner for 900 people… we had them all served a hot meal in less than 20 minutes. That was SO COOL.

Note: Vibrant Occasions has literally the best crew. They are the real deal.

Do you offer bartending services?

We absolutely do!

How can couples contact you to learn more about your business or book a tasting?
