As the year draws to a close, I find myself deeply grateful — not just for the weddings we had the honor of planning, but for the growth, the relationships, and the opportunities that made 2024 so meaningful. This year brought exciting projects, new beginnings, and unforgettable moments that reminded me why I love what I do.

Here’s a look back at the highlights that made this year one for the books.

01. Ultimate Wedding Experience

Ultimate Wedding Experience - 2024 Recap

We kicked off 2024 in the most incredible way: co-hosting The Ultimate Wedding Experience with Natalie Scott of The Grandeur House. The day exceeded every expectation. From the vendor team’s artistry to the stunning execution of every detail, it was truly a dream realized. We’re already dreaming up what’s next for 2025.

02. Our First Wedding of the Season

On January 13th, we rang in our season with Karli and Josh’s beautiful wedding at The Grandeur House — just narrowly missing the Arkansas snow! These two were a joy to serve, and their celebration set the tone for the year ahead.

03. The Wedding Blue Book: Trademarked & Transformed

A personal milestone — The Wedding Blue Book officially became a registered trademark in December, after filing back in March with the help of Whitney Bower. Along the way, the brand also got a full refresh thanks to the incredibly talented Alex Collier Design (the same creative behind the KGW brand). Big things are coming for TWBB, and I can’t wait to share more.

04. Caroline Promoted to Principal Planner

A standout moment this year was promoting Caroline to a Principal Planner on the KGW team. This role isn’t given lightly — it reflects leadership, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to our couples. Caroline embodies it all. I’m endlessly proud of her, and our clients are lucky to have her leading their wedding day.

05. Team Expansion at KGW

We welcomed two incredible women to the KGW team:

  • Lynley, who supports me behind the scenes and serves as an assistant planner when home from the University of Arkansas. She’ll also be an integral part of The Wedding Blue Book’s growth.
  • Jessica Meece, who initially reached out via Facebook — and never left! She brings calm and steadiness to wedding days and also runs her own boutique, DS Capsule Collection.

Working alongside women like these makes every wedding that much more meaningful.

06. New Branding Shoot with Kayleigh Ross Photography

With our team growing, we brought in Kayleigh Ross Photography for a fresh round of branding portraits. Kayleigh is one of the most gifted photographers in Arkansas, and I love referring her to KGW couples — in fact, couples who book her receive exclusive planning rates with us.

07. The Office Project — Complete

After buying a shed in 2023 with the dream of converting it into a home office, I’m thrilled to say the transformation is complete! Ryan poured so much time and skill into this project, bringing my vision to life — and exceeding it. Naturally, we celebrated with Christmas decor and another Kayleigh shoot. If you’re thinking about doing a similar project… double your timeline. Trust me!

08. KGW Takes Vegas

One of the biggest highlights? Taking members of the KGW team to Wedding MBA in Las Vegas! We missed a few familiar faces, but it was such a gift to experience this event with The Nicoles and Wednesday by my side. This team is everything to me — I truly couldn’t do what I do without them.

09. Our Final Wedding of the Year

Our 33rd and final wedding of 2024 was led by Caroline (with me assisting!) as we celebrated Keely & Joshua at Sunset Lodge at Rusty Tractor. It was the perfect ending to a full and joyful season. Fun, heartfelt, and beautifully executed.

10. New Planning Resources & Portal

With the growth KGW saw this year, we were able to elevate our planning systems with a new client portal, updated forms, and more organized workflows. The feedback from our couples has been amazing, and I’m so excited about even more enhancements coming in 2025.

In Closing: A Grateful Heart

From team milestones to business growth to each and every wedding we had the honor of planning — 2024 was a year I’ll never forget.

To our couples: thank you for trusting us with your most meaningful day. To my team, my family, and my community: thank you for your unwavering support. And to God: thank You for Your faithfulness, guidance, and grace in every step of this journey.

Here’s to 2025 — with full hearts, open hands, and big dreams.

Happy New Year from Kaitie Gill Weddings!
