Emily and Matt’s June wedding at Legacy Acres will forever go down as one of my favorite weddings. I call it my 1970’s Meets Anthropologie wedding.
When Emily and her mom, Anna, reached out to me about helping them plan their wedding, I just had a gut feeling that helping them was going to be more fun than “work.” And, let me tell you, my gut was 100% right. Working with Emily to bring her wedding vision to life was an absolute dream. Not only did she show trust with off-the-wall ideas but she helped make those ideas even better!
Let’s start with Emily and Matt’s wedding color scheme. Greens, pinks, mustard yellow, whites… and then tropical florals in white vases. Y’all it was just a dream and I’ll probably say it over and over again throughout this blog – ha!
It’s not every day that wedding vendors get to work with such a vibrant color palette for a wedding. And, it’s also not every day when every single vendor looks forward to a couples wedding. But, Matt and Emily’s wedding is one that I would talk about all the time about just how excited we were for June 19th when I chatted with their vendors. Let me just say, that this speaks volumes about Emily, Matt and Emily’s momma. They were just the picture-perfect (literally!) couple to work alongside.
From emotional first looks with family to emotional personal vow readings and gift exchanges, happy tears filled their wedding day. And, for the couples who are on the fence about doing a first look because you won’t get that “ceremony reaction” from your groom, don’t fret – I promise you will! Emily and Matt are proof of this.
I literally could go on and on about their wedding. I mean, they even had a late night snack brought out while they all sang karaoke! It was a DREAM wedding day!
Thank you Emily and Matt for letting me help you plan your wedding day.
