Haley and Ryan’s December wedding at the Grandeur House was the wedding of the year.
The day began with the Haley and her best girls sharing mimosa’s and getting all pretty for the day ahead. Before Haley’s first look with her dad and brothers, and of course, her groom, her twin sister and mom helped her put on her final accessory details.
When it was time for first looks, which I personally love when brides do first looks with their brothers, the smiles and happy tears filled the atmosphere. Ryan and Haley shared their intimate first look in the loft of the Grandeur House and exchanged gifts. And, let me just say, they are so photogenic! I don’t think they took one bad picture the entire day.
Haley’s wedding colors were shades of blues and reds, perfect for a December wedding. Her florals consisted of greenery, red and white anemone, white roses, eucalyptus, and blue thistles. Then she had floating candles with cranberries in the vases. It was such a great hint of Christmastime and comfort.
And, to add, the coolest thing about Haley and Ryan’s florals and decor is they were all done by Ryan’s mom, Rexayn and her floral shop located in El Dorado.
Once their romantic evening ceremony began, the processional songs were sung by a dear friend of theirs who played the violin and one of Haley’s brothers girlfriends played the piano. When Haley and Ryan were announced Mr. and Mrs., their family and friends cheered and cried happy tears.
Guests went right into the reception where food by Gina’s catering was served. Not only did they have a bar for their guests, but they had a hot chocolate station that also held donuts and Razorback cookies. Haley and Ryan both went the U of A and are big Hog fans.
Haley’s dad made a toast before the cake cutting and in his toast he reminded people that their family loves to dance so he expected the dance floor to be packed. And, let me tell you, it was definitely packed! Haley and Ryan had the wedding of the year because they truly made their love a celebration. People danced the night away. For real, they danced until we had to close the place down for clean up.
Thank you so much to Haley and Ryan for letting me be there wedding planner. It will definitely go down in my books as one of my favorite weddings.
