Libby and Reed had a beautiful November wedding at Grandeur House. The weather was perfect and the fall scenery made for the most romantic couple portraits.
As usual to any wedding day, the day begin with Libby and her bridesmaids getting ready. Libby actually did her own hair and makeup which still impresses me! I know that I would have stressed out with by the thought of choosing to do my own hair and makeup – ha.
Libby and Reed’s wedding color palette was ivory, pale pinks, and mauve. I loved how the bridesmaids wore mauve dresses and pops of mauve were included in the floral arrangements, but didn’t overpower the other colors.
When they shared their first look there wasn’t a dry eye. Even Libby and Reed’s parents who watched from afar inside the venue were teary-eyed. And, even though they shared a first look, happy tears still filled their eyes as Libby walked down the aisle.
After they said “I Do,” the reception began. Savory Catering served heavy hors d’oeuvre’s that were absolutely delicious! I saw many guests go back for seconds!
Libby and Reed shared their first dance to Can I Have This Dance from High School Musical 3. Then Libby surprised her dad with a father/daughter song that stopped midway and then changed to one of their favorite upbeat songs. Her dad immediately grinned and they began to dance and sing together. It was a sweet moment.
As the evening went on guests danced, mingled, and well-wished the bride and groom. It was truly a great November wedding day in Little Rock.
