Hey, there! I'm Kaitie - lover of Jesus, Spotify, Waffle House, the Hogs, picture frames, and color-coded wedding timelines. I've always loved being the host of a good party so the fact that I stumbled into the wedding planning scene doesn't shock any of my family and friends.
In 2015, my husband and I decided to move to Tennessee. And, while we would only live there for one year because I quickly realized I wasn't meant to move more than 30-minutes away from my family, it was because of our move that I found my love for the wedding industry.
In Tennessee, I worked alongside a company that hosted wedding shows, published wedding magazines across the state, and was the go-to online resource for the area. Saying I was bit by the wedding bug is an understatement.
To make a long story short, I registered for an LLC in 2017 and haven't looked back since.

Nicole is married to her best friend, Scott, and has three children (Ty, Kirsten, and Benjamin). And, of course, she can't forget her fur baby, Lola. In her spare time you can find her playing golf, watching sports, or sitting outside enjoying the Arkansas weather. She loves to travel, spend time with her church family, and making memories with her family and friends.

Caroline is actually a full-time teacher with aspirations to one day own her own planning business. She's an alum of Arkansas State and married her husband in October of 2021 at Rusty Tractor Vineyards. And, although she is new to the wedding scene she has loved every single bit of it thus far.

We are working on adding Taylor's bio. but until then...
Taylor actually has been helping KGW since 2020, but took a step back for a bit to do one of the most important "jobs" out there - being a momma! Her and her husband welcomed their first in June 2022.

Things to know before you reach out about joining our team...
1. There is not a guarantee that we are currently hiring when you inquire.
2. Wedding planning isn't for the faint of heart. You are dealing with a day that is high-stress and often has high emotions surrounding it.
3. Wedding planning is not just pretty pictures (although we do love this part!).
4. You must be an action-taker, love people, and not be afraid to "bust a move."
5. You must be someone who has a calming presence and can remain cool, calm, and collective under high-stress scenarios.
I love a good rom-com and am a sucker for a good love story. (Side note: You can always count on me to cry in a movie.) But, out of all the love story's I get the privilege to be apart of, mine is, naturally, my favorite.
Ryan and I are high school sweethearts, married in 2014 right of college.
There's been a lot of life lived and lessons learned since 2014. Plus, we've welcomed two kiddos into The Gill Fam. They are our pride and joy. Lincoln, our oldest, is obsessed with dinosaurs, tractors, and his cowboy boots. Darcy is obsessed with her daddy's voice, Cheese Puffs, and thinks her brother is just oh-so funny.

Kaitie originally named her wedding planning company Sailboat Weddings after her grandpa who passed away in September of 2009.
There are three things you need to know about Papa:
1. He never ever met a stranger.
2. His goal was to always make things easier for his family.
3. He loved Jesus, his family, and - you guessed it - sailboats.
Even though her company has had a full rebrand the daily reminder that she can make the world a better place one day at time by loving people like Christ, just like Papa did, lives on. He left a legacy and it inspires her daily.
