P.S. If you didn't catch my JLo reference you
should totally go watch The Wedding Planner.

on a personal note →

Yes, I’m a lover of classic rom-coms and yes, I’m most likely going to cry before the end of the movie. But… that’s not important. What’s important is how I help couples just like you take the overwhelm out of wedding planning.

When it comes to planning your wedding, you want to know you’re securing vendors who are reliable and will bring their A-game.

You want to feel confident with every single decision you make.

But, if you haven’t ever planned a wedding before, how do you go about feeling secure in the choices you’re making? I mean, weddings do look differently than when your parents said, “I Do.”

This is where I and the KGW team got your back. We’ll take the guesswork out of the entire planning process. Together we’ll plan a wedding day that is not only well-executed, but thoughtfully planned to incorporate your style and your love story.

P.S. If you didn't catch my JLo reference you should totally go watch The Wedding Planner.

here's where you can find me when I'm not a wedding

Browsing the aisles of Hobby Lobby for things I don't really need. Coloring at the kitchen table with Lincoln. Chasing Darcy around and providing her with all the cheese puffs. Sitting on the dock at my parents lake house. Playing a game of Spades with family. Snuggled up on the couch with Ryan, my high school sweetheart, watching an episode of NCIS.

P.S. If you're curious I'm an Enneagram 2w3.

statements we stand by

Kaitie originally named her wedding planning company Sailboat Weddings after her grandpa who passed away in September of 2009.

There are three things you should know about her Papa:

1. He never ever met a stranger.
2. His goal was to always make things easier for his family.
3. He loved Jesus, his family, and - you guessed it - sailboats.

Even though her company has had a name change, the daily reminder that she can make the world a better place one day at time by loving people like Christ, just like her Papa did, lives on. He left a legacy and it inspires her on a daily basis.
