Julia and Brian had a destination March wedding at the Hot Springs Country Club.
From Texas to Arkansas, Julia and Brian’s wedding day was a great one! I think one of the highlights was that they wedding party got to drive the golf carts to where they were taking wedding party pictures.
The wedding party was definitely a fun and for the first time, a groomsmen actually did make me jump when I was pinning on his boutonniere. Groomsmen always try to act like you’ve stabbed them with the boutonniere pin, if you’re wondering.
At first, Julia had a difficult time honing in on exactly what she wanted the design of her wedding her to look like. She knew she loved neutrals, greenery, and pops of pinks and reds. However, when she went to Eventology to look at rentals she saw the black chiavari chairs and the whole design just clicked for her. I absolutely LOVED the black chiavari chairs in the Hot Springs Country Club. I had seen gold and white before, but the black really made quite the dramatic statement.
Another aspect of Julia and Brian’s wedding that made a statement, was the groom himself. Brian was a hoot and he even did a tuxedo jacket change before the reception. It was totally worth it and those Golden Hour portraits by Steph Photo Co are just breathtaking. My favorites are the black and white portraits at the end of this blog.
