Kara and Devin’s July Wedding at Goodwin Manor was filled with Disney-inspired decor and was definitely a magical -filled day.
A little back story about “where the magic begin” in meeting Kara and Devin…
I first met them at a venue event in Searcy. I remember how kind they were and the sweet-spirit that Kara had.
Fast forward to the Arkansas Democrat Bridal Show and I got to meet them again. Kara was surprised that I still remembered her name! In general, I’m usually pretty good at remembering people’s names. But, really, I just remember talking with Kara and Devin at the Searcy event and about how Kara wanted a Disney-inspired wedding day.
They already had a dear family-friend who had planning experience assisting them with their wedding, but I was still so happy that they stopped by my booth at the show to say hi.
Fast forward again to about two-weeks out from their wedding date. We are in the midst of Covid. Kara called me in a slight panic because their coordinator had been exposed and was no longer able to assist them with the logistics and personal decor set-up of their wedding day.
They were actually having a Thursday wedding so I was readily available to help out with their wedding. I honestly loved how full-circle our paths had become.
Kara truly looked like a princess on her wedding day. I loved seeing all the creative idea’s she had planned out to incorporate Disney-decor in a tasteful way throughout the day.
One thing I thought was a really neat addition were the hidden Mickey’s on the wedding cake. Seriously, so cool and such a great design by PattiCakes Bakery.
Despite the July heat, Kara and Devin’s wedding was true and pure magic. It was definitely a day “where dreams came true.”
